Vietnam has a tropical climate, so it is generally hot and humid throughout the year. We adapt our activities to local climate changes and locations. 1. When is the best period to travel to Vietnam?This is a great question! Given the size of Vietnam, there are no specific times to travel there. We advise travelling to the south between October and March, and the north and centre between March and October. As those regions are quite diverse, we can always choose the most suitable location in each season, it is advisable to connect with our travel experts!

Will the tour guides speak English?Each of our guides at Chôm Chôm Travel has a unique skill set and is typically a proficient English speaker because our company's main priority is travel experiences. Miscommunication may occur if your English accent differs from that of a non-native speaker, but our Operations team is always available to help. 2. How many days should I stay in Vietnam?The longest is the best! Chôm Chôm Travel prioritises slow travel, so we always suggest staying as long as you can in one place. For the memorable experiences in Vietnam, we recommend spending at least 6 to 8 days in each location.

5. Can I drive a motorbike in Vietnam?It can be difficult to navigate the traffic in the north or on any road journey, but it can be particularly intense in the big cities (like Saigon and Hanoi). We'll need your international driver's licence and some riding experience on a motorbike.

6. Do I require a visa to enter into Vietnam?The requirement for a visa depends on your nationality and intended duration of stay. Tourist e-visas are available with extended validity ranging from 30 to 90 days, allowing multiple entries. If you are planning to visit Vietnam, you may benefit from a visa exemption and stay for up to 45 days without a visa (including days in and out of the country). This exemption applies from 15th August 2023 and is currently valid for 15 days. No administrative formalities are required if you hold a passport from one of the following European countries: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway. For certain countries like Japan and Korea, free visas have been extended from 2 weeks to 45 days. This change will be effective from August 15, 2023. 4. Do you do a one day tour in the Mekong Delta?Chôm Chôm Travel focuses on experiences while travelling. The transportation from Saigon to the Mekong Delta doesn’t seem realistic to enjoy in one day. We start our experiences with 2 days and 1 night of cruising, cycling, exploring the flora and fauna, and the beauty of the local life.

6. Do you have any experiences that are driving distance from Saigon?Chôm Chôm Travel loves Saigon getaways, and we can experience nature a few hours' drive outside of Saigon. Depending on the needs of the family, the Mekong Delta or Bảo Lộc would both be excellent choices!
